Does Scale Affect Photorealism?

I’m afraid the jury’s still out on this one.

I was hoping that the larger frog would look far less believable than the smaller one but this wasn’t the case.

My feeling is that neither frog look photorealistic enough to enable a judgement to be made. At present, it is still clear that the smaller frog is fake. If I could first make the smaller frog look real, and then increase the scale of the frog, my guess would be that scale would then inform the viewer that the image was a fake.
